It’s Food Allergy Week, 13-19 May

There are now 10 food allergens.  Do you know them all?  Remain up to date with your food safety training to ensure you know all the allergens.

Facility managers must fully understand their obligations in food safety including an awareness of the ingredients in the food products that they handle, make, or sell.

It is vital that procedures and training are put in place to ensure managers and staff understand their obligations to declare known allergens in food. This applies whether the food sold is packaged or unpackaged.

Make sure your training is up to date.  Know the 10 food allergens!
