CFT International is a Registered Training Organisation specialising in design and delivery of high quality online food safety training.
We have a dedicated team giving online students personal support through their training. Accredited and experienced trainers manage the online support desk from 7 am to 10 pm, 7 days a week, so that students can be assured that they are able to communicate directly with a trainer when they need to. CFT International is committed to improving training delivery options for all people in the food industry from cooks in aged-care and childcare, to hospitality workers, people in food manufacturing and retail industries. This commitment to quality in turn supports food industry workers to deliver safe high quality food to their customers.
Our Training Background
Our director Margret Leslie, established CFT food safety training in 1999, working in partnership with local community houses, colleges, associations and organisations to deliver training in locations convenient to local businesses.
Margret trained in hospitality management at William Angliss College in the 1970s and has had extensive food business experience, as owner and manager of several successful restaurants and food outlets. Combining this experience with her diploma in adult education from Melbourne University, she has been able to write clear and concise training material to meet industry and legislative requirements. This experience gave her an understanding of both the time constraints on people working with food and the need to make food safety requirements easy to understand and implement in small businesses.
As a natural progression, in 2005, CFT began online delivery of food safety training to give people more options when choosing their training.
CFT remains one of Australia’s leading RTO’s specialising in food safety training conducted online, face-to-face public classes and in-house training for groups.
